Last Friday we were invited to Music in the Park by a
co-worker of Kirk. Mr. S sings with a
barbershop group here in Stockton ,
and his group was singing as the intermission act. We frequently try to support Mr. S and go to
things he and his wife are involved in.
They’re pretty awesome, and Kirk has been working with him for a long
time. I made some delicious sandwiches
that were like Podestos but better, and some homemade potato salad (my MILs
recipe). We packed up the ice chest and
the wonderful camp chairs we got for our wedding, and headed over to the
park. We enjoyed our dinner while I
enjoyed the music. We got too listed to
Mr. S and his group sing some fantastic patriotic music, then got to chit chat
with Mr. S and his family. The weather
was good, the company was good and it was so nice to be outside in some super
nice weather.
