Back to normal life. Finally!

This past weekend Kirk took the engineering test he's been studying for since just a few weeks after we got married. It was a 2 day/16 hour test. He's been studing for 9 months, and that means (almost) our whole first year was spent with him locked in his office studing, after his regular work day.  Some weeks I was really good about being positive about  his studying, some weeks I was really cranky and whiney.  We got through it, and now I am so excited to start seeing my husband more, and being able to really enjoy being married.  We don't get the results for about 2 1/2 months... Now I'm really just crossing my fingers (and everything else) that he passed!

Why?

Why is it that when you're young they tell you to expect break outs, and acne and all that stuff.  

What they DON'T tell you, is that when you hit a certain age it happens AGAIN!

My face I swear is worse now then it ever was.  Even though I used medicated face wash.

What the frick?

A broken modem..

..makes for a very internet-less house.
Once upon a time when Kirk and I first got married we didn't have internet. Then we got it. And it was glorious. I watched all the shows I wanted, checked my email whenever I wanted, and got into blogging.
Last week I was on the computer and all of a sudden the modem just stopped working! I tried restarting it, unplugging and replugging...everything I could think of.  It's just dead. I'm going to see if my tech savy dad can fix it. Till then we're back to an internet less house.  I've been going to barnes and noble or sitting outside Starbucks to check my email. Kinda sucks.

In happy news, Kirks test is in 2 week!!!! I am beyond ready for that to be done with.

Oh, and it's supposed to be almost in the 70's this weekend.  That means that all those shoes in my closet that I loving call my 'summer shoes' can come out and play! Just in time for easter. And yes, I've already figured out what I'm wearing this easter weekend. So happy.
