Poor Husband

My darling has the fortune and sometimes misfortune of being married to me.  You see, husband is a very light sleeper. I'm not quite sure how that happened considering he comes from a large family, but he is.  Usually any little noise, or the slightest shift I make will wake him up.
That's really not a good thing for him, being married to me....especially during allergy season.
I have extremely small nasal passages, and I get stuffy reeeeally easily.
Consequently that means, well, that I usually snore. That's right, I'm a snorer.
Unfortunately that means Kirk has been spending a lot of time awake during the night recently.
Ear plugs don't work, it doesn't work when he rolls me on my side anymore, and the other night I yelled at him in my sleep because he was trying to wake me up.  I've tried sleeping propped up on more pillows. That didn't work. Tonight I'm trying sudafed. I know you're not really supposed to take it when you're ttc, but at this point of time I'll try anything that might work.
He headed to bed on the earlier side tonight because he's been so tired, and has had a headache from lack of sleep. Poor guy... It's been about two hours since he went to bed, and I decided to try to give him a solid chunk of sleep tonight.

If anyone has ideas (preferably cheap, or free) of ways to stop snoring, please share! I don't know how much longer he's going to be able to go on not sleeping well!

Where We've Been.

I know I've totally been slacking the past few weeks. I'm sorry.
I don't have anything interesting, or exciting to blog about today...
Our life the last couple weeks has been quite slow.
Kirk is still studying for his big test that will (THANKFULLY) be here in just a few weeks.
I'm still training to go through training to become a certified Jazzercise instructor. I have 3 1/2 weeks.
I did go see The Hunger Games with my little brother, and it was pretty dang good.
I'm glad I went and saw it, and didn't wait for the dvd.

That's pretty much the extent of our last 2 weeks..
What can I say, we've been boring people lately!

Ready or not?

I've been thinking for a long time that I was "so ready" to have kids.  Yesterday we had a birthday party at our house for our niece. We decided that it would be a good idea to put a baby gate up that way the little ones couldn't go up and down our stairs. We went and got it, then after we got it up the first words out of my mouth were "ha ha ha...dumb kids." (I actually do love the kids that were here.) As soon as I realized what I said, I just thought maybe I'm not as ready as I thought. It's good I still have some more time I guess!

Dreamin'

Have you ever had a crazy dream, and wondered what the heck it was all about?

Last  night I had one of those dreams.
To make a long story short, the dream went like this -
I was riding a horse down the road, it stepped on something so it bucked and I couldn't hold on to the reins so I fell off.  After I fell off, the horse fell on me because of it's injured foot. That's when the dream ended.

I decided to google dream interpretation for horse dreams, and this is a bit of what I found :
Seeing yourself riding a Horse in your dreams may indicate you will see a project or event to successful conclusion. Falling off a Horse in your dreams indicates you’re nervous about a project or event you have scheduled. Dreaming of a Horse with reins, pulling a wagon, tied with ropes, etc., indicates you are feeling restricted and desire more freedom in your life. A bucking Horse in your dreams indicates a need to break old habits.

Normally I'm not one of those people who run to an interpreter for my dreams, but this one was eerily accurate.  Maybe I should start paying more attention to my silly little dreams!

Update.

The good news is that we found out I do NOT have a brain tumor.  That's really really good.
The bad news is that now the doctor has no idea what's wrong still.
We'll be doing more tests, and I'll probably end up on medication.

Hopefully I'll know more by the end of the month.

Real Friends

You know that time, when you just want your best friend to tell you you're right about something, so then you tell them, and they tell you that you're being a total drama queen and to get over it? That's the sign of a BEST friend. They tell you how it is, now how you want to hear it.

It's harsh, but sometimes you I really just need it.

That's what best friends are for.

Thanks bestie.
